Too many good scripts gather dust.
Every screenplay is written to be made — yet so many never leave the shelf. WD Script House is a curated script house under Wilke's leadership — her taste and craft as the filter — not a collection point or open community.
WD SCRIPT HOUSE
Serious stories, built for the screen.
WD Script House develops sharp, human, production-ready stories for film, television and series. Led by Wilke Durand.
FOR WHOM
For producers and directors who know the script is the project.
The right script doesn't only tell the story — it gives financiers, cast and crew something to believe in. WD Script House is for the people who understand that everything begins on the page.
WD SCRIPT HOUSE PRESENTS
Wilke Durand
Wilke Durand writes character-driven stories that explore hypocrisy, guilt, emotional survival, and the fragile line between morality and moral self-image. Her work is drawn to the facades individuals, institutions, and communities construct to preserve the illusion of righteousness.
Originally trained as an actress at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Maastricht, Durand developed a sharp instinct for dialogue, subtext, and performance before turning to writing. She discovered her voice through a solo theatre piece that was later adapted into a television film.
She went on to co-create, write, and star in a nationally broadcast children’s sitcom, producing 36 episodes that were later rerun twice.
Determined to deepen her craft, Durand spent a year in Los Angeles studying screenwriting in an intensive one-on-one masterclass with Syd Field. Her feature Dance with Me was developed at the Binger Film Lab and optioned by IDTV Film, while a subsequent feature received a writing grant from the Dutch Film Fund.
Whether writing drama or comedy, Durand creates stories grounded in human contradiction — often balancing darkness with sharp humor, vulnerability, and compassion.
